I’ve only bought 1 healthpack, and that was to guarantee a Top 5 finish in the PvE that had Star-Lord as a reward.
As a result of that, I’ve come up with the following tagline:
“Health Packs. Definitely worth it when you need it, but never feels good.”
The only time I bought health packs was waaaaay back when the lightning rounds rewarded 3-star covers as the top prizes. It was a round with classic magneto as the reward and the back and forth slap-fight were crazy. I grabbed him in the end (so to speak), though, yay!
Never bought health packs before.
I would in the right scenario - a needed cover, struggling to meet a minimum, running out of time, essential hero is downed, etc
There’s nothing wrong with it in a niche, rare scenario but on average it’s a really poor investment. If you find yourself buying health packs very often at all, you really need to rethink your HP Spending strategy.
Day 346 and I bought healthpacks no more than twice. It was worth it as I was going for 1300 then to net me some XF covers which have more than paid off since.
I did feel extremely dirty doing it though, it’s gross. I hope nobody has to buy healthpacks
