Step right up and place your bets! I think that the Boss HP mechanic will be wildly imbalanced but I’m sometimes wrong and my opinion is often irrelevant anyway. What do you think?

Webcore really feel like they’ve hit on something re-running RotGP, I think, especially since they’ve tied the seasonal rewards to succeeding in the event.
The thing is tho that HP-based events like RotGP and AM have never had the feeling of ‘all the players in the game pulling together to achieve something’. They simply feel like a normal event that forces you to play your games at an inconvenient time… sometimes so inconvenient that you’d simply miss out.
It is possible to create an event which has this feeling: We have 2, in fact, the Duel Decks events (ZvE and DvK)! You’d see campaigns running around Discords, or even being posted on social media, pleading with people to play one particular side so that players could win the prize cards associated with that side. Of course, the ability of the player base to create a campaign of a size that would actually swing the event was very limited, but you did see people try.
I still believe that the goal will be unreachable and Webcore will blame the players for not “earning” the reduced event entry fees that their predecessors so generously gave away for free.
Well my biggest concern is exactly the opposite, that the event could be over before the end of the weekend, without giving some players with other commitments enough time to play!
Guessing exactly the right amount of HP so the event doesn’t go on too long or too short a time is a nontrivial thing to do, and it’s easy to forget to change with subsequent RotGPs, as the size of the player base grows or shrinks (we’ve had that problem before!).
Are Webcore going to remember to do that? They’ve certainly forgotten to update the latest Elite packs in the Vault on quite the number of occasions… same kinda thing, isn’t it, having to remember to do something like that?
