Might just be me, but I love reading through those threads of 3* or 4* being supremely powerful from over a year or 2 ago, and then think “You have no fucking idea how much worse it will get”
4* Captain Marvel alone would’ve put the fear of God into players. And I don’t think she’s even top 5 4*.
What amazes me is the depth of strategies available for players to create PITA combos. So many ways to play the game. Passives, traps, tile spam… They are now the traditional ways to build a team around, aside from plan hard hitting your enemies. And lots of new 4* offer novel ways to exploit those established strategies and combos.
I say, kudos to the developers. Not everything is perfect and gripes will be immortal, but they have done fantastic job given that this game is only a match-3 game.
Eh, with the old Spider-Man, Magneto, or Ragnarok, even a fully covered 5* at max level would just be a speed bump.
