One of the commanders in my alliance had his data corrupt and his profile can no longer be accessed and now it looks like my other commander has the same problem! Is there any way at all I can boot them from the alliance as that’s two slots that can never be used.

Players need to be inactive for a fortnight normally but in your case id send a ticket to d3p.there is a mod called gothickratos with a link whenever he posts thats what I use if I have an issue and they normally get bk to me within 24hrs.it is the weekend though so may take longer.
Just make a new alliance and have everyone except your cmdr join that.
