It may be hard to see, but that creature in the lower right has been boosted to 309/309. The AI got stuck in this loop where it kept getting a card to draw more cards and get fifteen green mana. I finally force quit the game when it got above 450.

This card should not be able to return itself, but it does and thus creates an infinite loop. I hope they fix it soon.
Yup, that was the card! I hope I never see it again until I get it in a booster pack. 
I just had this image of a bumbling cartoon villain AI saying, “I vill defeat you! No, I vill CRUSH you! No, I vill HUMILIATE you!” and forgetting to ever actually strike.
I like your proposed card remediation. It would remain powerful for us while not enticing the infinite intoxication of the AI.
