The forums are over moderated now, imo. Whenever I see a locked thread I know who locked it.
So what if op’s question gets answered? Does it really need to get locked as soon as it does? On any given day I’ll scroll down the front page and see 5+ threads locked.

Closing the loop here, since I said I’d look into this.
The real drive behind the warning was repeated posts predicting what the moderators would do with threads. Basically, anti-forum-moderation trolling. The text of the warning could have been worded better, and this has been communicated to raffoon via PM.
