So as promised, my experiment. I started the three events with 5d11h, 5d1h, and 4d1h remaining, so time should not have been a limiting factor in completion. Only scaling challenges and lack of essential characters.
Event 1 - 396th, considering how many people were missing Blade and the fact that Ares was the final reward, not a shock that 60% did not finish.
Event 2 - 356th
Event 3 - 191st
Based on those numbers only 2.7% of the entrants completed all 60 nodes of the Gauntlet. (Of course that calculation assumes that only those that completed all 20 nodes advanced to the next round which is not the case. Assuming an additional 30%/20% cleared the 14 nodes to advance - 10% missing Blade, 20% not wanting Ares/10% not wanting Daken covers. That would mean that only 1.9% of the initial participants completed all 60 nodes)
So, for those of us that beat all 60 nodes, we are in top 2% of the Gauntlet player base. Based on the feedback and comments on the forum, you would guess that percentage to be much higher. Another example of the forum members being on the higher end of the overall player base.
