Does anyone know what it is?
It looks like it’s a similar setup to the Coulson event a few months ago. The prize is likely a cover for the new Star-Lord, but I’m not 100% sure about that.
Looks like a one-and-done event. Shame, I was looking forward to a new regular PvE.
@sh81 - there might be covers as node rewards though.
As in 5* star lord?
I don’t think fivestar covers have ever been given out as node rewards. The closest was probably when the first run of Civil War had 5* Cap and Iron Man covers as the round 8 rewards.
It’s more likely 3* or 4* Star-Lord covers if there are any at all.
I wonder whether they’ll reward either 
Gamora or Rocket & Groot considering (I assume) it’s similar to Agent Coulson, Ant-Man & Howard the Duck event as I can’t see them rewarding a Star-Lord & a version seems like they’re downsizing the reward.
Maybe, since it’s 3* instead of 4, we’ll actually get one of each cover instead of just the one like with the Ant Man, Cho, or Coulson events.
They’re already giving out three covers for the Thanos event. Dropping another three in the same week seems a little generous. Not that I’d complain.
They have run a few of these events. One for Ant Man, one for Totally Awesome Hulk, one for Agent Coulson, and now one for what appears to be Star Lord.
They are all the same setup: 5 nodes, 4 with iso rewards, and the last one rewarding the featured 4*. Lately it’s been a random cover, but the first few were specific colors. Full progression meant a large iso reward too. They’re usually not too difficult, they always have at least one or two nodes that requires the new character, and they’ve always given you like 10 or 30 days to complete it.
I don’t see why this new one would be different, except that the new star lord is 3 and 5, so I imagine that it’ll either give 3 3s or one 5, or possibly one LT for the new Star Lord Vault.
I’m just happy to see 10k coming my way 
More mini iso events can be dropped whenever you’d like 
I did notice the Starlord vault sticks around a lot longer than previous release stores, so the LT idea definitely has merit.
So disappointed to see 5* is required

well at least you can still complete it. 10k ISO and vol2 token. Originally I couldn’t see the other node on the far left of the screen.

Got a Star-Lord (yellow) that I really didn’t have a spare roster spot for, but 5k ISO is 5k ISO.
Very similar to the Coulson mini event, and I’m looking forward to the Rocket & Groot and the Gamora mini events too.
But, uh.. What’s with the side-view artwork on Star-Lord? It looks terrible. And the mysteriously floating handgun/laser in-fight is… wrong somehow.
Just looks like the art needs a polish (or a complete do-over. Either one, really).
A bit short. I’m guessing that the story will continue in another similar event for the new Rocket & Groot.
Pulled a Coulson from my token. Fair enough. I’m not too concerned about missing 5k Iso considering that I have nothing to spend it on.
Had my kid draw my 4 Vol. 2 tokens and she pulled me a Star Lord. Lucky!
But yeah, having a required node for a 5* seems pretty cheap. I’d be ok if it was any Star Lord required, but the 5* one? Oof.
I enjoyed the mini-event - nice to see new artwork and a new mini-story, and the nodes seemed reasonable. I wish they would do an event like this for every new character.
I was surprised and pleased by the attacking ship art when using 5* Starlord’s green! That was a cool touch.
Making a required 5* Star Lord fight seems to go against the spirit of charity that inspired a 3* Star Lord doesn’t it?
A 4 node story seems awfully short. (I’m not including the required 5*) Now I have to sit and pout at the story screen for another 4 days. I was looking forward to those other 6 planets
