I thought we were done with overlapping coalition events.

I am pretty sure that we universally agreed as a community that we hated this and didn’t want it.

I also got two Something Went Wrong errors in a row as soon as the new event started. Probably not a coincidence.

I’m stuck on a lovely spinning fetching player event screen…

Same. Has the game been noticeably slower for anybody else the past couple days? Loading up or moving screen to screen?

Luckily everyone is off on memorial day also so the event might not even work before it ends. I haven’t been able to join at all, getting SWW.

I’m having both issues, stuck in “fetching player event…” since saturday and slow animations.

I do not want overlapping coalition events!

I thought it was the usual error in the scheduling and I choose not to complain about it, but this time it was true.
Overlapping events are bad even if AWR is light.
Also, we cannot login right now

Connection’s been very spotty for the last day and a half, so I’m not sure it’s completely related to RtO. Overlapping events does, however, certainly seem to make it worse.

Same, stuck on fetching.

I got in after a couple of retries but I’m not touching any events until I know things are worked out.

Its fine now done more matches just fine

Race to Orazca has the single player icon even though it lists coalition rewards.

From about 4:30-5pm PT it was doing great, then Training Grounds ended and the hamster powering the servers apparently died.

I can take being bricked, cascaded from the AI, bad luck with boosters, overlapping events(don’t mind it), being River Rebuked, Nyxed, Pigged/gatewatched, Baraled, but the good old wheel of death can be maddening. Need to upgrade their hamsters.

Like this?

everything is slower for me, turns take forever, and it can get stuck for several seconds whenever a creature dies, until it realizes that the 2nd creature is supposed to move down

I guess this went off-topic pretty fast.

I can’t understand for the life of me why they decided on overlapping events - again…

I doubt they “decided”, it was probably a rush job “We’re off for the day, what can we put in fast?”

And I partly think that because Race to Orcas has the single-player icon, it might be tagged wrong in their inventory so whoever did it didn’t even realise they were putting a coalition event in the calendar.

Never put down to malice what can be explained by simple human lack of coffee in the morning.

Overlapping event bad. Surprise overlapping event very bad. Surprise overlapping event not at the weekend worse bad. Surprise overlapping event not at the weekend which requires new deckbuilds doubleplusbad.
