Loading the game says “update available” - just like yesterday - and my only option is to hit ok. When I do it goes to the Google Play store, where of course the game is up to date, since I updated it yesterday. There it gives me the option to open the game, which takes me back to step one, and the “hit ok” to update button.
Cannot play the game at all in this state. Can’t hit back, tried reloading, etc.
force stopping the play store app or turning your phone off are ways to fix this. Give it a try.
Unfortunately neither of those solved the problem. Anyone else have ideas since apparently this isn’t a widespread issue?
Actually, the restart enabled me to apparently actually update the game, since I guess that’s actually what broke. So after actually updating it again (even though I thought I did yesterday) it is now working. Thank you!
