Wouldn’t it be cool if there was an option to activate speech bubbles in battles? These could trigger during skill animations or cascades. Could be quotes from the comics or maybe even you could put some own lines in / character. It would could make for a more comicy feel.

could be tedious if they triggered each time a skill is activated.

Seeing as how a lot of people are calling for an option to remove animations i dont think this tis the way to go
Seems cool to me. Doesn’t have to make the animation any longer than it already is so it’s not like it would make any of those perceived problems worse.
I agree it would get a bit tiresome after a while but if you could enable it or disable it whenever then that would be neat. Probably not worth it for something most people would just disable though. (like the sounds? 
)
