I had 50 recruit tokens stored up from tournaments from the past week or two - 41 1-stars and 9 2-stars. Just hadn’t gotten around to using them. I just emptied them all, half-hoping to get a Ragnarok cover or two. Here are the results:
My results have been completely opposite of yours. After a week of playing I bought $20 of HPs and bought mostly covers. I got 3 red rags, a bunch of bag men/ 2* magnetos, 2 blue and 3 yellow spideys, and 3 x force wolverines. Since then I haven’t spent any money, and completed my rags with token/hp pulls.
Spider man I have max trained from standard! Tokens. Pulled a couple classic magnetos and an IM40 with standards also. Got a red rags yesterday the same way.
Maybe its different because I use every token the second I get it? I can’t see why that would matter, but either way, I’ve had drastically different results.
All the anecdotal evidence I’ve seen posted makes me think you get about a 10 percent chance of a 2 star hero and a 3 percent chance at a 3 star and even less at a 4 star.
Granted, you might have a better set of results over a small sample size, but in the long run I think those percentages are about true.
I don’t get the point behind hording tokens… it seems counterproductive to me. At the very worst a token is worth 100 ISO. Not much, but it adds up – it’s basically the average value of a PvP match. At best it’s a cover you wanted badly. But sitting in your Recruit bar it’s worthless.
Hoping it’ll be useful when some new character comes out is… a poor choice. Currently they don’t add characters to the regular packs automatically – you won’t pull an Invisible Woman right now – so you may have to wait weeks before that character is available for your token.
Generally I redeem tokens as soon as I get them – even the IM40 one which I knew was going to be an instant sell since mine is already maxed.
