iPad OS early release - anyone try playing the game with the new OS?

I am anxious to try the new iPad OS, but I don’t want to lose the ability to play the game for coalition events. Has anyone updated to the new iPad OS and confirmed that the game is playable?

Which version is the “new” version in your terminology?

I’m running MTGPQ on iPad iOS 12.3.1 and at this time that is the most recent version in my region, Northern Europe, and I have not experienced any problems.
