So for a good while I have always had an issue with Iron Man Model 40. Not because of his skills, but the fact that he has been carrying the wrong model number since the beginnning. Marvel released a book just recently called All-New, All-Different Marvel Universe. Within it is a second on Iron Man that is an update for events within the Marvel Universe. Without disappointment, there is a second that goes over his armors as well. Now I can finally say, for the last time, it is Iron Man Model 42, not Model 40. Fix your armor!

If that’s so I guess the question is is it easier to change the name or change the image (whatever the actual Model 40 looks like, a google search just turned up images from the game).

Honestly, there’s no intention to fix this. I’ve brought this up a few times in the forums and I know IceIX has brought it up a couple of times himself. If they cared, it would have been done a while ago. I’ve given up on it but I just wanted to get in my last two cents since it came from an official Marvel source.

That’s a cool suit. I wish they would update the graphics rather than correct the name. But it sounds like neither is going to happen.

Maybe someone should let Marvel know. I’m sure somebody there cares. It would be terrible for Demiurge if something happened to the Marvel licence.

Text change should be easier than an image change (covers, animations etc).
Perhaps they are waiting for IM42 to debut in the cinematic universe
