lol, they somehow created a Frankenstein’s monster half-heroic PVP event. They can do anything if you just believe hard enough. This one is the best yet. You have to pick two X-Men, but you have to fight the hardest teams of non X-men, for some reason. Literally none of the opponent teams are X-Men, no matter how many teams you skip.

Nightcrawler is boosted, is an X-Men and he shreds that team. You can start with two casts of his purple, and it’ll likely cascade into something else. His red will oneshot Sam and almost oneshot Juggernaut.
For the 2nd you can go with 4 Cyclops, X-23, or 3 Storm. I’d probably go 3 Storm because she can use green or yellow to make even more cascades with Nightcrawler. Cyclops and X-23 overlap with Nightcrawler a little too much, but both can still contribute.

I know resolutions seldom work out, but I’ve been playing sporadically while sitting on a decent hoard of everything, so I’m going to at least try to laying down the marker that if nothing about the anniversary excites me then I’ll finally delete the game & forum links, and remove it from my Steam library.
At least when I was chasing ISO there was a feeling of progression, but that’s long since in my rear-view mirror and I don’t recall even experiencing a comic book fan thrill since Galactus, Red Skull, and Zemo all finally joined the game.
My leaving would have no impact what-so-ever & I certainly wouldn’t make a goodbye post, but just as a fun bit of a trivia I’m seemingly the longest standing forum member left! 
I was the 4th recipient of the Tenth Anniversary badge (on the old site), behind IceIX, mytisbrewin, and mooken - never thought I’d outlast IceIX, so if my puzzle questing comes to an end next month I salute whoever takes the crown next.

I liked the Zombie thing they did in 2024 (?) a bit. Sure it was not super-exciting, but it was PVE content you could play daily, it had a little story, etc. I guess now we have the Tower.
I am…worried is too strong of a word…suspicious(?) the alliance v alliance feature will not go over well with the players after the year we’ve had, but would be happy to be wrong about that. Effort seems to be waning.
I wonder how many fence sitters there are, waiting for Anniversary to decide what to do. I expect nothing but there are often new things launched in October. A v A may be it, hoping there’s something more.

Having Indy for the anniversary would be really cool. Then the cover variants could drop for nov. and all sorts of additional fun could be had with those. Not holding my breath though…

I just want to see what day 4745 brings… or around then, if we count leap days. Last year was the worst ive seen it… hoping it changes.
But with the re-treads of 5s and 4s going on in Shield Resupply lately, my hopes are greatly diminished. Still, I press on. Gotta see what happens.

@PiMacleod makes a great point here and the Daily Resupply was often forgotten at various points over the previous few years and they dropped into an abyss. Just want to make sure it is on the radar. In addition…
Historically the Daily Resupply that coincided with the Anniversary brought with it a good run of treats for those playing since Day 1 if the introduction of the resupply feature (and those that started later catch up eventually!). It would be good to know this hasn’t been forgotten if the resupply admin has been automated.
There are some patterns that have been the case for a long time: a 5☆ cover every x days, a 4☆ cover every y days etc. They tended to follow release of new characters. It might be nice to drop in 6☆ shards (or covers, go wild!) into rotation too. I used to maintain the list on the front page of the Daily Resupply list, based on the inputs from @PiMacleod, but the new Forum structure made that a slightly nugatory task, since they are all on one page.
