Is Kraven’s purple power think like the enemy busted?

I’m playing the challenge node on the first day of OSS and his purple power says IF there are 4SAP tiles on the board, his passive activates. But I am using a team that does not create any SAP tiles and somehow on the enemy’s turn it is creating 4 SAP tiles every time. Is this busted or am I just somehow missing something?

He doesn’t do anything with creating SAP tiles, nor does anyone on his team.

His power is to reduce the power of existing enemy SAP tiles, if there are 4 or less.

Are you saying he creates SAP tiles for your team as a bug?

Yes, this exactly! He is creating SAP tiles for my team. I think it must be a bug. I was trying to use multiple man and he keeps overwriting my traps and killing me before I can get enough for the win criteria.

Ooooh. Not a bug then.

Those Multiple Man tiles are SAP with his face on it. @entrailbucket stated such in another thread already when discussing X-men teams for Heroic.

See.. this is why including your team matters.

Right, so what’s happening here is sort of weird, but it’s the same thing I see with Kitty/Multiple Man when I run that team.

Multiple Man creates his dupe tiles on red, blue or green, but they are actually just attack/protect/strike tiles with his face on them.

The weird thing is what happens next: Kitty sees X number of SAP on the board and buffs them, except as soon as she applies her buff, the game stops showing the Multiple Man face and just starts showing the regular SAP icons. The same thing happens with Low Level AI – as soon as you match a strike tile, the game buffs all the green dupe tiles and starts showing the strike tile icon for them instead. I assume Kraven’s passive is doing the same thing.

It’s actually great for me, because my strategy was to create a billion giant strike tiles!

Here’s a short video demonstrating what happens – watch the green and blue dupe tiles specifically:

Ok, wow!? Thanks for the explanation, I had no idea that his dupe tiles actually registered as SAP tiles.

Yeah it’s really weird and totally non-intuitive. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to work that way, but it actually means Multiple Man is one of the very best special tile generators in the entire game!
