A 9.5 day event that stoll isn’t giving me a new cover. Still giving Nick Fury as the top prize instead of putting him in pvp where he belongs. Way too long. The rewards r crap. Wtf D3. You ARE NOT getting my $50 this month.
Yeah pretty crappy event. Only top 0.2% will get fury and there is nothing else worth grinding for. I probably will play casually every node once for the iso and thats it.
Personally, I’m excited since I need/want more patch covers. As doubtful as it is, if I can get 1-2 for Fury covers that’s nice but I won’t fret over it since the nodes tend to get above my character levels towards the end anyway
It might be fun to just play for the tokens, 2.3% chance a sub for fury covers is not that bad for casual play
(Guys he just got released, maybe soon he will be in PVP who knows-- not like they’d put him in combined arms lol )
(not sure why anyone is complaining about fury as top 2 for a long pve, it’s long been since that 4s were the top rewards of all pves, you just didn’t care about the other 4s
anyways this idea that fury is taking the same slots as other 4*s in pve suggests (possibly) the same will be true for fury later for pvp).
He DID NOT just get released. I have had Nick Fury on my roster for 3 months now. He’s been in the game for 4 months. It doesn’t matter that it was a “preview”. If they are gonna do a 3 month preview they definitely DO NOT need to wait an entire season to put him in pvp /packs. This whole being a top 2 prize for pve is ridiculous. The entire Nick Fury release process has just been total absurdity.
Fury essentials? Fury essentials? #@$% you too, D3. At least I can do the Psylocke ones, hopefully that’s enough to keep me in the running for event tokens.
Why would they put him on PvP when the only guys winning PvP are the guys who are going to end up spending more than enough money to be able to max out Nick Fury while competing for covers they already have maxed out?
I’m not sure what’s the reason to put him for PvE at this point, but if they nerfed Magneto you could expect a significant amount of revenue generated via health packs/boosts because the rate you’ve to fight the PvE encounters is not sustainable without him, and a lot of those nodes are hard enough to wear even Magneto down if you don’t have Falcon and Daken both maxed.
Ugh. As a 2*-3* player, I agree, but I was expecting this since they have given him out for a few things.
On the bright side, he’s the only 4* you will get from the Event Token packs.
My plan is to get what I can out of the instances (Heroic or Event tokens,) the HT cover at the max level, and 1 patch cover. If I do that, I’ll be happy.
