The main requirement is that you must be an active (daily) player so we can make it to the top alliance rewards 
I have donated 5 slots so we are now 3/10 and have 7 free slots. We hope to get some donations coming in to fill the remaining 10 slots.

Since we have 1 remaining slot left, may i suggest that we hold off on using the last slot and add the next player who is willing to pay for another slot? This way we can max out to 20 and really challenge the bug guns!
This was the strategy of the other alliances that are now maxed out and in the top 20…
