When I woke up this morning, Grey Matter had ended instead of 15 hours later. Lost out on a lot of points but figured it was my fault and lesson learned.
About 30 minutes ago when I went to double check the end time for my Deadpool sub, I realized I am in slice 1. I am never in slice 1 for pve. Ever. Always slice 4. Is this just me being dumb twice in a row, or is this happening to anyone else?
I have noticed that joining time slices can be a bit odd - sometimes it will let me join, other times I will have to choose my slice a second or even third time before I’m “registered” for the event. I’ve found that once I choose a slice, closing the app and restarting it always enters the slice I chose. I don’t know if that’s related to the issue you had, but it might be worth a try for future slices.
Yes, when it won’t let you join, it’s pretty dumb. For Grey Matter, I had to try about 4 times to get in. I finally got in and played a match. Got my 38 points and then the game kicked me out into the lobby. When I clicked on Grey Matter, it asked me to join a slice again. I clicked on slice 4 (or so I thought) and it put me back in with my 38 points, and 1 seed team gone (as in everything seemed normal). I didn’t look at the time remaining since I know when it should end. Didn’t end when I expected it to.
But maybe I am dumb.
See, this is why there should be a 24-hour option.
The number of times I’ve selected the 10 o’clock option and gotten confused as to whether 12pm meant daytime or midnight.
The 12am/pm thing is a little confusing, but you can just look at the slices next to it to figure out what time it is. If it’s the slice right after the one ending at 9pm, for example, you know it’s midnight.
Only ever joined the wrong slice once, and that was by mistake as I was tired and I was trying to see what the forthcoming event rewards were and ended up clicking the wrong thing… But like i said I was tired, so wasn’t very awake over what I was doing!
Still wouldn’t hurt to say the sub ends at 24:00 or 19:00
Except there’s no such time at 24:00 =P
But yeah, I’ve wanted this for a while. I read 24 hour time much quicker than 12 hour time. At least have the option.
