Juggernaut Smashes His Way In At Non-Limited 4* #83

One “easy” solution to dilution is to cut the 87+ characters at 4* level in half for rewards. One of the 44 older and also one of the 43 newer can be offered at the beginning as an option for which you want. Just like picking your end time and SCL. This way players can choose which of 2 options they want to go after. Stingy developers don’t have to give out more, but each character cycles through twice as fast since 2 are shown every event.

Plain fact is that a daily 4* cover reward should have a node at this point. No debate, it’s fact. It will not break the game and it have nothing but positive long term benefits for the game.

By “coming soon,” they literally mean like the Second Coming.

My personal modest proposal would be that progression be changed to award multiple covers for one 4* character and that CP rewards be shifted to placement. That way, players who regularly play (but probably non-optimally) to progression can blunt the effects of dilution somewhat and the T10 players (who are probably already in the 5* tier and don’t care about specific 4* covers) can get fractionally more LT draws.

Yes, it probably means that well-established 4* players get even fewer opportunities to pull 5*, but if you’re still trying to champ characters at the 4* level, you’re probably going to be relying on feeders to get the 5* covers you want anyway.

Please no.

The CP is useful to tons of players who care not a whit about placement but are in the 5 tier. Or play marginally for T50 or whatever. To take the CP away and restrict it to placement would to further drive away a bunch of players (which would be great, I guess, for the people who are barred from good placement due to not playing as long).

But giving more marginally valuable 4* covers to people with champed 5’s, while taking away CP and making it effectively impossible to build CP for characters you want? No thank you.

How about making it so that every 3 star gives out two different 4 star characters (total of at least 6 covers but preferably more) as champ rewards? They stopped giving 4’s feeders a long long time ago and that hasn’t helped the dilution issue.

Also how about slowing the hell down on new character releases? Make it once a month or once every 3 weeks. This is every two weeks stuff is exhausting in the lack of resources isn’t helping matters.
