While playing the current ongoing event, I noticed when teaming 5 star Kang and 4a5 Vulture, the blue AP is no longer retained by Kang when Vulture black power is fired and there’s enough blue AP for Vulture’s blue to automatically proc. Was this a stealth nerf? Or did I miss some rebalance notes from before?
Dunno if 4a5 Vulture blue changes, but regular 4*Vulture blue always auto fired when you had 10 blue and went airborne. The text hasn’t changed afaik.
Did you try fiddling with the team order? Sometimes that messes stuff up
It definitely autofires at 4a5, but in the past, Kang would return the blue AP, but now he doesn’t. So I was wondering if this was stealth nerfed, or was it on some official rebalance notes and I missed it.
I’ll give this a try and see if it has an effect.
Gotcha, wasn’t sure if this was a Kang or Vulture thing. I’ll be like Homer and fall back into the hedge on this one…

Back in the Heroic Technologists run, I noticed this happening as well- sending Vulture airborne with 10+ blue AP and Kang not getting it back from autofiring.
I don’t think it ever recouped the blue from 4 vulture firing his power, even when it triggers passively, because it’s something that happens on the players turn.
Kang only recoups AP for things that reduce it during the opponents turn
Initially, when Kang was released, when Vulture autofired the ability, Kang did refund the AP, it was one of the reasons Kang/Deathlok/Vulture was a popular team. I’m just not sure when Kang stopped refunding the AP after Vulture auto fired. I’m assuming it was some kind of stealth nerf, as I haven’t seen any official word about it.
Works fine for me, although he doesn’t so much re-gain the lost AP, it’s simply not lost in the first place. I.e. Vulture fires his blue power when he goes airborne and there’s enough blue AP, but the number of blue AP simply doesn’t change.
As Seph1roth5 says, the order matters. I have Kang in the middle and Vulture on the right (with Deathlok on the left).
