Why does MPQ keep trying to get me to kill my own alliance members? It should really remove my own alliance from possible matches.
Or, you could coordinate with them, keeping them in the slot and attacking each other when your target is shielded. Win-win? 
If you could spending HP for a few point a win, I guess. I don’t buy HP so I almost never shield. I would also be okay with no cost skips for alliance members, so you can still do your trick if you like.
why do you have to buy HP to shield? I also don’t buy HP, but I shield when it’s appropriate too, because I earn enough from events that I net either -25 or 0-sum if I do an 8-hr shield in an event. So it’s by no stretch only usable if you spend $$.

Allies names should appear in a… hold very tight… DIFFERENT COLOR.

Here’s hoping they implement something soon.
Meantime, wee hint - if you click on the username once you’ve selected a node, it takes you to their roster and also shows you their alliance name under their user name (if they are in one). Takes a wee second or two of your time, but useful if you’re not sure.
Alliance colours would be better though!

Yep, this change should be implemented ASAP. The alliances caught me off guard and I may have attacked my teammates 
since I rarely check the names of my opponents. I usually check only what points they are worth and if I can take the opposing team. I guess they can’t nail anything in this game with the first try. Not even the obvious things. Oh well, Spiderman is waiting 2+ months for the announced nerf so consider us lucky if they add the different color in the next 2-3 months. If only they spent less time discussing about P2W options and more about balance changes.
You don’t lose anything from the alliance score. The points won/lost are at worst a wash.
Just possibly some /drama.
This won’t be high on the to do list.
