So I almost got hosed by what looks like a bug on Fury’s Demolition skill. I tossed LThor’s Thunder Strike, which resulted in a horizontal match-4. The row cleared and triggered a Demolition charge. That charge, along with 4 or 5 others, blew and took out LThor. LCap stepped to the front and got hit in the face by the detonation of a single Demolition tile, to the tune of 6900 points of damage.
I know when a player executes an overkill attack (like Doom’s Diabolical Plot), the resulting damage doesn’t cascade through to the next target… any ideas why Fury’s did against me? The wording of the power is “detonates in unison”, so I would have expected everything to blow at once, even if the attack was overkill by 4000 points.
As long as I have had fury, this is how it has worked…
If you match just one trap, they detonate in unison…
If there is more than 1 trap on a row, and you match 4 to clear the row, if the first trap (or traps depending on how many were there) will drop a character, the subsequent traps will hit individually until the last one you destroyed in the row is triggered, where the rest of the traps on the board will detonate… You theoretically could lose your whole team depending on their health…
Aright, so apparently, I am right & wrong… Described above is how fury’s blue acts, but apparently it is a bug… They’re actually talking about it on his character discussion page right now: https://forums.505go.com/discussion/6444
