A question for PvP veterans: in general, what’s the best time to join a bracket if my goal is to reach, let’s say, 800 points? With 3 days left, 2 days, 1 day or on the final day?

My roster is only so-so for PVP, so I held off joining early because I feared I’d end up in a bracket with heavyweights going for 2000+ points, and I don’t want to end up in that kind of bracket. But I don’t want to wait until the last day, either, because points can be tougher to come by in a fresh bracket.

I’m not so much worried about the 800-point reward, just putting up a good score for my season total. Getting 1000 is generally not an option for me – once I cross 700 I get bombarded with boosted 4* champions over and over that I can’t possibly beat without being attacked 3 times in the interim – so I’m wondering if there’s an accepted strategy as to the best time to join to make the most out of a 3*-ish roster.
