I just downloaded R109 and there is noticeable slowdown and loading between game screens. Once I’m in a match the game runs fine but there’s a 5 to 10 second delay every time I change screens outside of a match (event screens, character select screens, etc.). Before the update changing screens was instant.
I have an iPhone 6S. One of my alliancemates is on a regular iPhone 6 and he reports the same problem. A third alliancemate also have an iPhone 6 and he reports no problem.

scrolling between token vaults is taking forever, with black screens between a few of them.
Just agreeing with the above posts to confirm seeing the same issue.
It may sound like just a small quality of life issue but its pretty boring watching nothing for 10 seconds regularly.

I’m having the same issue on my iPhone 6.
Also, it still won’t keep the “Save backup using FaceBook” setting checked.
I thought my phone died the first time it went black. 
Android update just went up. Anyone try it out?

And I can no longer connect to my FB account to save my data…

iPhone 6s - loading screens when trying to load token vaults, and PVE screens. Also increased loading when starting a node in current PVE (Gauntlet).
Galaxy s7 - everything loads slower, art takes longer to appear, but no black screens. Just empty placeholders that eventually fill.
Both are on their latest OS versions.

Long loading (black screen) is between pretty much every transition, i.e. going from Story to Versus, going from Versus to specific event, going from event to mission, going from main screen to recruitment. Haven’t noticed an issue when scrolling through recruitment pages themselves. The loading screen after finishing a mission is also slower, but it has the changing icons graphic rather than being a flat black like everywhere else.

Black screen for 3-6s when:
After selecting an event from the main screen
When selecting “event rewards” from within the event screen
Not when selecting rankings screen, but when returning to event screen from rankings
When returning to main screen from event screen
When opening roster screen
When selecting a character from roster screen
When selecting a character from train screen
When selecting the Recruit Heroes screen
When opening a token
Issue present on both iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S, iOS 9.3.5.
Intermittently happens when changing screens. Reminds me of how sometimes all your missions don’t show up, and you have to change screen away and back- but instead of that its just a loooong period of black screen.
iPad 9.3.5 as well.
