If you are/get good enough, Daken + Wolverine should be able to take you to 300 now (depending on bracket)
Action Item 1: Respec your Daken. Unfortunately with Daken at 3 Blue, it limits your Chemical Reaction damage to 1107 + strikes as opposed to 2007 + strikes. With 4/4/5 or 3/5/5, you should be able to hit 400/500.
Assumption 1: You are joining time slice 1, 4 or 5. Time slices 2 and 3 are much harder, and a sub lvl 100 roster gets beat down much harder in these brackets.
With Wolverine/Daken, your focus is on Red/Green/Blue, approximately in that order.
General Ability strategy:
Green: Cast when you have enough red, and there aren’t any red matches available.
Red: Don’t use this except as a finisher, or to down a really troublesome enemy.
Blue: Also a finisher. Exception: if you have too many strikes on the board, and spare green.
If into the battle you get say, 12 Red, 12 Green, 10 Blue, with say 3 strikes on board, to finish enemies you cast (approximated damages):
Feral Claws 500 dmg
Chemical Reaction 2200 dmg (at 5 covers)
Feral Claws 500 dmg
Adamantium Slash 3300 dmg
Chemical Reaction 2200 dmg
Total: 8500+ damage, probably leaving 2 extra strikes on board.
Generally this enables you to finish the last 2 enemies, or one hulk.
In easier seed matches, sometimes you only need about 6 red(unused), 6 green, 5 blue to finish off a single enemy.
You don’t want to use your Adamantium Slash until near the end, as draining your red depowers your Feral Claws ability to create strikes for Chemical Reaction.
Taking Damage
Having 2 true healers means you can generally take 2 big hits (2k each) and still come back. Wolverine tends to be weaker than Daken healing wise, but can jump up quicker with his healing. Unfortunately, while you are matching yellow, you aren’t matching red, green or blue. When focusing on red/green, Wolverine will take more of the hits. Against higher level teams, you may have to resort to clever cascades to put Daken in front and yet still get red/green AP without Wolverine taking too much of a beating early on.
If you have to let someone die, if there is enough blue on the board for heal, probably let Wolverine go.
Daken isn’t great at dealing damage by himself, so the key becomes getting about 6-7 strikes on board with 10 blue AP. If the board is already blue starved, let Daken die. The focus generally becomes making sure Wolverine heals enough, so generally focus on getting yellow whenever he’s under 50%, unless you’re 1 red match away from an Adamantium Slash.
After battle:
Go to prologue, and heal Daken and Wolverine as much as possible. Eg, if Wolverine is under 1960, go heal him. If Daken is under 3700 or so, (max 3920) go heal him. The best battles are in the first section of prologue where there are no team-up tiles. If only one of them needs healing, it’s a good time to earn your daily deadpool points.
If you lose a battle:
It takes 10 mins to revive them. After this, you can go prologue heal them.
I’d work on the rest of your roster to get a second team.
