LT Token Haul - The Search for Strange

I haven’t done one of these ever, so figured I may as well. Donno how much people care about these types of things, but I figured this would be an easy way to list out my latest Token Haul so I can show my brothers & friends and such.

With 5 Star
moving into the purgatory that is the Classic Legendary Token pool very soon, I decided now was the time to spend the CP I’ve been saving up for the past several months.
My goal was to open them until I either ran out or I was able to cover max
, and then stop so that I can start hording CP again until
is about to leave the Latest Token pool.

Here was my distribution of these 5 Star characters before I started opening:

= NONE

= 4 1 5

= 0 2 0

I achieved my goal, with 300 CP or so to spare! I was worried that the 5 in
was going to bite me, but it RNGessus did right for me, so I won’t have to stress out hoping that CS would swap covers should I have pulled a 6th
.
Here was my distribution of these 5 Star characters when I stopped opening, right as I got the 5th

Total Latest Tokens opened = 65
Total 5 Stars pulled = 12
5% = 18%
Bonus 4 Stars = 7
Bonus 5 Stars = 0

Things of note:
I got a TON of
covers; 9 total. Good thing was able to champ her.
I also got a heap of
covers; 7 total. Good thing I had her champed.
Got many
covers as well; 6 total. Was able to champ him too.
My ISO reserves have taken a massive hit after having to champ 2 4 Stars…

The only wasted covers were:

  (of course from a bonus cover)
• A 6th
  
  . I won’t be able to cover max her in time; she’s only 2 4 5.
• A 6th
  
  . No way I can champ him in time, he’s 2 5 2.
  I have a
  
  on the countdown clock now, as I have 2 weeks to get about 100K ISO to champ her. Should be doable for me (I think).

Heh, yeah. My bonus heroes are any of the older 4 Stars I don’t have cover maxed.
The only ones of that era that I don’t have cover maxed are:

I know that
and
in particular are terrible, but the completionist in me takes over…
I should prolly make my favorites the better older 4’s like
and
and such, but I have all of them champed, and a new cover feels like more progression than a single level increase.

Isn’t that bad anymore. He’s very usable with the right teammates. Still not top tier or anything, but I’ve played around with him in PvP with reasonable success.

Congrats on covering Strange. I’m still firmly in 4* land, with only around 17 of them champed, but Strange is my bonus character for both 3* and 5*. So count me as jealous of you. Hehe. Enjoy your new toy!!

I didn’t post to boast.
