As I’ve been here since day 1, I’ve learned to never really get my hopes up for the standard tokens I get. But in the past 2 days I’ve pulled a Green Ragnarok, a Blue Dr Doom, and a Black Punisher. Is anyone else noticing slightly better odds or is it just a little lucky streak that I’ve probably jinxed now?
I find they tend to come in bunches too. A few 3 star miracle pulls then nothing but yelenas and jugs for weeks.
I got a black Hulk and 2 Daredevil covers in the last 2 weeks, but I think that has more to do with a huge surplus of Standard Tokens from event grinding than it does with better luck. I waited until I had 20 tokens to pull, got 19 single-star covers and the DD, which is roughly in keeping with the figures the tracking spreadsheet put out. Today I swapped 9 tokens, got 8 single-star covers and one Ares, so I think the odds have remained the same.
Lady luck has some sense of humor.
My Hulk is stuck since the last Hulk event and would desperatly need covers. Now I see a green Hulk coming in 3 days as daily supply. Also the Hulk even re-run will offer one about at the same time. Same green.
And I open the heroic from today’s daily supply: green Hulk. obviously mine is at 4, so can use only one of those 3.
But I can rumble for 3 more days with the bigger hulk in the event

If this is the same one that popped up briefly at the beginning of the event, it’s a random colour now (I got a black cover).
Genuine randomness includes occasional clusters of events, not everything spread out evenly, so there’s not necessarily anything strange about the situation in the first place.
One Invisible woman, one X-Force Woverine. A few 3* as well.
I must have opened more than 350-400 standard tokens. It is probably more but let’s say this is a conservative estimate. All I have to show is 4 3* characters. That is way less than the average drop rate. The funny (or not so funny) thing is that 2 of them were purple Daredevil (I couldn’t care less) and they dropped after the ISO event. After the ISO event I also got 5x25HP tokens. I know these don’t replace 3* covers, but I can’t help thinking they jinx me. I would trade 125 HP with a random 3* any day. Even the 1000 I would get from selling the cover is better than that HP. So yeah, if we hold a contest for the most unlucky draws overall, I think I would be #1.
The other silly coincidence is that after I sold 2* Wolverine, I only draw green covers. He is 5/0/0 now and although I don’t care a lot since he is a puppy now instead of a Wolverine, it is disturbing seeing him maxed in one color and naked in others.
I’ve pulled IW from heroics two days in a row (yesterday and the day before), but it’s been a few weeks since I pulled a 3* from a standard.
I’m positive that the odds have been being tweaked with each update. I was getting better luck last month, but since the last update haven’t pulled anything besides 1* or HP.
It’s just how probability shakes out. Random doesn’t mean evenly distributed.
I have had amazing luck the last week. I got 2 OBW, 1 PUNISHER, 2 PATCH, THOR(was able to respec him) IRON MAN 40 AND A LOKI, all from standards
I got green both times, thought it is fixed green. We’ll see then maybe third pass is the charm. 
It was stated in another thread that the Recruit Hulk node this time around has 4 reward options: 2x Green Hulk, 1x Red Hulk, and 1x Black Hulk. (The node was released early by accident; some of the forum regulars jumped on it.) So the color you get is random, but Green is more likely than Red or Black.
I said that, and then pulled a blue Hood, doubling my Hood covers, from a standard today.
I pulled an xforce yellow wolvie out of standard.

Seriously, in the entirety of my pulls I have never gotten a 4**** from a standard. Ehats the drop

I did a double take but , not complaining .
My wife just started playing (hasn’t touched the Venom prologue chapter yet) and has pulled a daredevil and an invisible woman, as well as an ares. Crazy luck.

For me, whenever i open one right after i get it, i always get 1* covers.
But whenever i open a bunch at the same time, i always get a couple 2* and 3*.
What i do is wait until i get 25 tokens and then open them, last time i did this i got a bunch of 1’s ,25hp , a blue daredevil, a yellow ares ,a green patches and a red hulk.
