Magic storyline along with thematic events?

I really like the design of new pve events based on magic storyline and lores.
The idea of an event that captures the plane realms (AWR) along with minor events that depict the most important moments of the plane’s history (AJTH) is a great idea from part of the devs.
Unfortunately, those events allow player to “be part” of those captured moments but they dont really tell players the stories they are involved in.
As paper player, i always loved to discover the sories behind the cards i was playing and i thought that it would be great if along with those historical events a storyline was added so players could discover the real stories behind the scenes.

What do you players think about it?

I’m with you here. I’ve always enjoyed the flavortext of cards giving us a peek at the lore that the card is involved in.

Still sad I didn’t know about the Mirrans vs. Phyrexians mass voting, where the players could have supposedly had an influence on determining the outcome of the war.

I’m sure the developers already had their minds made up, but it would have been cool to feel like you were involved enough to influence the storyline :wink:
