Today’s event quest is make 40 matches in your team’s strongest color with IM40. Is this yet another bug as it has always been make 10 matches before?

Those quests suck even at 10. I’m so glad I’m not doing season pass this month

10 or 15 yeah. Not really a problem since the introduction of 4* Moonstone.
Her + IM40 + character with black as strongest color → infinite match blacks
Yikes, I did a double take when I saw this.
That’s a lot of work for some peanuts, but the 4Moonstone tip helped take the sting out of it…
I’m obviously an idiot. How/Why does this work? I read 4 Moonstone’s powers and come away confused. Thanks.

Moonstones yellow allows you to change 3 tiles to black and her passive says every time you make a black match you gain yellow. So you use her yellow and try to make 2 black matches, which will count as 2 matches in your strongest color and refund enough yellow to do it again.

I also use the refreshment cart on Moonstone, so every time she fires her yellow, she gets refunded 1 yellow AP. Makes it easier to keep things going.
This is getting ridiculous…
I use GoldMay and Cloak&Dagger for yellow.

Domino, Moonstone, plus anybody with strongest as black.
5* Scarlet Witch is also helpful for the “make x matches of some color” quests.

Am I missing something on this? Today is “make 10 matches in your teams strongest color with Goose on the team” -so I have Goose (5 star) with Deadpool (Spirit) and Wolverine (Samurai)
Goose’s purple is the strongest by far at 853 damage. I’ve done four battles with these guys and have 10+ purple matches made, but my counter still shows zero. What am I missing? Is there another Goose maybe, or is this just a bug?
I had to use 3 star Goose to get the matches in strongest color to register.

The game recently has been less specific with which version of a character to use when there are multiple versions.
It seems like every time that’s the case, the best choice is just to use the lower tier (or original) one as so far that always works for me.
If there is more specific language used then pick that one, obviously.

Yup, I just went for lowest tier characters as well. Personally I don’t think they’re gonna make it more specific because the space to write the text is so small, if they fit in more text, only Antman can read them. 
It’s not their fault you’re not playing on a 50” monitor.
The old guys fit it in, usually. Just give simpler quests that require less text to describe.
The main gates to completion should be:
- Do you have the character (s)
- Are you paying attention and using them in nodes to complete the quests
The match strongest quest made more sense when the rewards let us clear vaults that were better. The current vaults are lower in value and doing all the quests doesn’t get you anywhere near clearing it.
Throw us a bone and make the quests easier. Easy community win.

What was going on with the Devil Dinosaur one? It was nearly complete before I even used him. I finished it with him on a team, so it was definitely working with him.
