Here are the R245 Release notes.

Contraphobia: intolerance of people with different views than one’s own.

It sounds like a villian or maybe a bigot.

It’s a tough guess. Marvel youtube are showing Moon Knight (30 March) and Eternals.

I have no clue. Not even googling can help me. :smiley:

It’s about to be Black History month. I’d expect to see a black character (or two) be released.
Incidentally I found quite a different definition than Hound did:
People with contraphobic behaviors initiate situations or experiences they actually find extremely distressing or hard to deal with.

YES!!! I am extremely certain I know who this is. Contraphobia… is exactly that was said above. That plus Black History Month.

This is Blue Marvel. His entire character is based on Contraphobia and he would be an amazing character for Black History Month knowing what his story and background is. I am hyped!!!

Great guess, would love to see him enter the game.

I also think it could be Deathlok, he was a soldier that was reanimated and his earlier origins have him active through the 80s up to the 90s which falls in line with the Contra Affair.

I like this but I think they said that the character released first from the poll would be a 4* and Deathlok was on that poll. I could be misremembering though.

You could start with 30 lives in Contra. Imagine that this character had a passive that gave them 30 ap at the start of the battle.

Okay, so who is a reluctant hero? Someone who is doing the hero thing (initiating the situation), but absolutely doesn’t want to be doing it (finding it extremely distressing or hard to deal with).

It’s obviously Doorman (DeMarr Davis)

Dealt with intolerance: check. (He’s a Great Lakes Avenger and his dad looks down on him)

Doing distressing things he’d rather not: check. (You try escorting your estranged father’s soul to the other side)

He fits every conceivable definition of the clue, and makes sense for black history month.
