Honestly Spider character works.
But I was also considering how this could be a Spider-Counter. Someone like Morlun for example kinda works for this quote and he would be likely to destroy web tiles.

Are fixes for moondragon is in this release ? and chasm rebalance?
could the new toon be spider woman? considering she got kinda put into stasis for some time (no clue if that is still canon though, I have a no interest for anything spiderman)
I thought Fury has always been pretty darn good in 4 land, but maybe he’s due for some QOL tweaks whon knows.
Speaking of Spideys, I’d love to see 5 Peter Parker given some love. He could certainly use a tuneup.
I’m guessing Madame Web…from the ancient part. I seem to remember her being an older woman in the comics.
Fury had a buff not that long ago (someone is going to look it up and it’ll be like 7 years ago, but it feels recent to me). Before that buff he was really bad.
Maybe they can finally specify what his yellow actually DOES.
Like, numbers.
Would be enough of a buff for me.

Can’t believe it’s taking so long.
Concerning that it is taking too long. I mean I can live with Chasm no problem but I worry that he is causing problems even in attempts to rebalance him which given the Devs issues with some of the coding work is a bit dodgy. If you can’t fix him without breaking the game in a sideways motion then just go scorched earth.
maybe new char is actually chasm rebalance 
would make sense alongside a new 3* chasm. Change all existing chasm cover to the 3* version and start anew with chasm exactly the same but with 4AP drain.
Nick Fury already had a rebalance. I find it amusing when they rebalance someone twice. Yellow is already one of the strongest. Maybe they can reduce purple AP and change up his blue a bit. Here is another character that is a PvE enemy a bit though
Ancient Web, the first thing that comes to mind for me is Madame Web.

They will buff him so he’s a pain to go against in pve. See 5* Kingpin as a great example.

Mr. Immortal with a symbiote.
He got mauled by (insert street level villain here) and thrown in a garbage can. After being dumped in a landfill he stumbled upon Peters old web shooters, which had been discarded after he first used the Venom symbiote. He strapped them on only to be infected by the symbiote remnants… This symbiote lives within Mr. Immortal and lashes out constantly.
Mr. Immortal is always in the front, but has no health bar because he can’t go down.
Every match he makes also does damage to a random ally.
At the beginning of the next turn after an ally is downed, the symbiote throws the fallen ally at the enemy team, destroying an area of the board shaped like the ally.
Three passives, check.
Immortal, check.
Spider verse related, check.
