@Brigby Just making sure you are aware of this… also how awful this type of thing is 1 hour before the largest prized event in the meta is running.
We appear to be experiencing the same issue as well, at least for those logged in. Others can’t even log in. We’re getting an Unable to connect to Facebook error.
Hearing tons of complaints about this on our site.
They’re def having some issues. I’m even seeing “Maintenance” messages on the forum when switching threads sometimes.

Can’t get in at all.
Facebook log-in issue here - just spins on ‘logging in’. This was after a post-game crash had me restart…
It’s not limited to FB it seems. Got some coalition people unable to log in who aren’t connected to FB.
Same here. I can actually log in and play in the event but I get stuck on the “ending event” screen. If i force quit and log back in i don’t get the points. I am in winning distance of the Immortal Sun too… #epicsadface
Its not just BoFT, I’m getting errors after winning Across Ixalan matches as well.

No SWW error (possibly making this rant off-topic) was thrown.
It was just like the app force-closed itself like back in the energy/servo days. =(
I hope the event lingers around long enough for my next recharge because 53 points is all that’s in between my filthy mitts and the Immortal Sun.
