Bad timing
This is super frustrating.
I love this movie and I love this costume from this movies. It’s literally the first costume I’ve cared about at all since the feature was introduced.
But even if this weren’t close enough to the Professor $ clusterkitty to justify any purchase, it’s $25 for three covers I don’t need, Hero Points that aren’t super-helpful, and a costume I’ll almost never see because Miles is one of dozens of mid-tier 4-stars I only use when they’re required.
Love the costume. Shame I can’t afford it.
Really wish we’d gotten a 5* Miles with this look instead of torso-face Kingpin for the movie.
Really wish this wasn’t riding on the coattails of “Professor $.”
Really wish we had a more definitive start date. Being able to spend that HP on the vault for Professor X (or in my case, going after that one last Black Cat cover I need from the Apocalypse vault) could be tempting, but I don’t even know if the vault and this deal will overlap to make that happen in the first place.
And then there’s the whole “wish you would just sell cosmetics for $1-$2 each instead of bundling them to artificially inflate the price” thing. But I realize you don’t actually listen and I’m shouting into the void on that one, so this last bullet point is really just venting for my benefit.
I am convinced that this is how they are tackling dilution. 20+ bucks at a time
Super bad timing after the Prof$ fiasco. Unfortunate that my VIP just happened to expire too. Hope the cash grab was worth it because the bundle is a pretty good deal for people willing to spend money.
Would love this costume but can’t spend right now. Very frustrating.

I’m not buying the bundle but never had a problem with costume bundles. Bought a couple before. There are decent way to make some money in general. Too bad on the timing.

Hard pass, not gonna waste my money on the game with the road map it is currently headed.
The thumbnail that shows up on my main screen reminds me of a Shy Guy, except the mask colours are inverted.
This is not tackling dilution so much as it’s the whole point of dilution. Dilution is a feature, not a flaw.
As a new player, those 2200 gold coins look juicy! Did all the dishes. Mowed even the neighbors lawn. Is it worth it to finish the rest of the chores all extra and stuff for dad’s cc??

You’re not getting the HP at a good rate there. By paying 24.99, you’re trading about 1425 HP at the 19.99 rate for the costume and 3 covers. Maybe that’s a good trade for you but don’t be too tempted by the HP alone here.
