Mnemonic Betrayal not caring when opponent has graveyard

Was playing the Awakened Inferno event with Kaya. I had Mnemonic Betrayal charged to cast . Wouldn’t cast. I know for a fact the opponent had a graveyard because he kept casting unexplained dissappearance on me.

Did you use her first or third abilities at all? Because they’ll both exile everything from your opponent’s graveyard.

Which points to a larger issue, which is: being able to view our own graveyards and exiles is an excellent and relatively new upgrade. Now, especially since the introduction of Kaya, we need to be able to view our opponents’ gy and exiles as well. Or at least see a card count on them both. Otherwise we’re playing with a lot of guesswork that shouldn’t have to be guesswork.

I agree. I’ve proposed this idea before. I am sure others have also. You can find the beginnings of a thread here: https://forums.505go.com/discussion/79727/opponents-card-count

I’m pretty sure I did at least once.

Kaya’s first ability is an activated Leyline of the Void. Your opponent may have no graveyard if the Improved Burial Rites support is on the field.

Hello guys,

Thank you for the feedback.
I tested this card on the new version and it’s working properly.
Will be correct in 3.9 version.
