Reading Moonstone’s gravity warp it says it will warp a random special tile to a chosen basic tile, if there are no special tiles then it causes damage. I have now had the AI using a TU Gravity Warp on me twice where I have strike tiles on the board (this is in the current PvE where I am using Patch) and all it does is nuke a random tile and cause me damage as though there was no special tile on the board. I have seen a few posts where normal conditions for a TU don’t have to be met, is this one of them? If so it would be nice to have a better description of all of the TUs and what is needed or how they will react instead of having to find them out as we go along, because they are not the same as the regular power.
The amount of covers affects which tile colors can be moved. If your strike tile was placed on a Green tile, but Gravity Warp was not at level 5, you will take damage. From the Compendium:
Gravity Warp - Purple 8 AP
Moonstone manipulates gravity, warping a random Purple or Black Special tile to the location of a chosen basic tile. If there are no valid Special tiles, the warp collases doing 75 damage. Level Upgrades
Level 2: Can warp Red Special tiles. Collapse damage increased to 86.
Level 3: Can warp Yellow Special tiles. Collapse damage increased to 98.
Level 4: Can warp Blue Special tiles. Collapse damage increased to 109.
Level 5: Can warp any Special tile. Collapse damage increased to 120.
Max Level: 1069 damage[/color]

I saw the same thing, and thought it was a bug at first as well. It actually makes a high-level but low-covered Gravity Warp TU more desirable, which is… odd.
