I tried searching, but couldn’t find the answer. Maybe I was wording it wrong.
But I have been playing for a year now , and notice the people in my alliance score better than I do, even though I play every round and they don’t start clearing until later rounds. I’ve asked how and no one has an answer. Is there a way to accumulate more points that I am just not seeing?
They’re getting more points because they aren’t playing the earlier (easier) rounds. Early rounds give you fewer points.
Wait for the boss node to refresh and then hit it. I.e. don’t immediately play the side nodes when they unlock.
