Not the point and you know it, this game shouldn’t ever “doomed” given one or two megawhales revenue should be enough to keep the potato servers running.
Keep in mind this isn’t like top10/25 boss, rules won’t be bent to ensure tier 5 is reached. It’s about the precedents. You really wanna argue it’s fine they set (sometimes arbitrarely stupid high) goals that half the playerbase doesn’t see or fully understand, so we can be told “oopsie no rebalance this month u failed lol” ?

Well, if this years anniversary challenge is anything like last years, it will be less of a challenge and more of an easy mode victory that we will surpass without even trying and they are basically just giving us these rewards and making us feel like we accomplished something.
Where do you see it tied to costumes? It’s tied to cover swaps. Changing the covers for the characters is an easy way to mark which characters give the extra bonus points because this forum is always littered with people saying they have no idea which characters to use. Now it’s easier to see.
You don’t. They are auto swapped for you in the roster screen. Cover swaps are the comic covers for the characters. They’ve done this for years periodically at various times, especially Halloween.
Which Spider-Man is Spider-Man (Zombie)?
I don’t have 5trange (Dead) so I’ll try to use SpideyZombie and Headpool as much as possible with whichever bonus hero gives most points. Is there one that is original AND cover swapped?
Spider-Man (Zombie) is an upcoming costume for 4-Star Spider-Man (Infinity War). He’ll be available for purchase soon! In the meantime, he can be defeated in the new Anniversary events. Like MPQ Vs. Zombies or Headpool’s intro event!
