Currently, the 3/5-star releases are variations of the same character. Have you considered releasing existing-but-not-in-the-tier pairs? For example, 3-star Apocalypse alongside 5-star Squirrel Girl.
More support love like continuing the rebalances, opening up super restrictive supports to be equipped on more characters (looking at you black panther), or new ones. Would love to see a support that could resurrect characters a limited number of times for example Krakoa’s Resurrection Protocol or Zombie Virus support or really anything else that provides unique skills to change up how squads play out for pve/pvp.
Then why have Kraven in this game if they dont want anything to do with that character. Oh because he was/is a good Polaris counter to mention a few. Got it!
The Kraven in game is not from a film but is based upon the comic book version (I haven’t seen the film so can’t tell you if they differ much). The only three film based Spidey villains are 4* Vulture, Mysterio and 4* Doc Ock. There isn’t even a film based Venom version in MPQ.
The same happened with no Deadpool tie-in’s (Cable, Deadpool, Nega-Sonic etc are all comic book based) until Deadpool & Wolverine, an MCU movie which did get film associated MPQ releases.
4* Kraven was released prior to Polaris so they obviously just wanted him in game but I think he was an attempt to try and slow down the Gritty team that was running wild at that time, he didn’t really work.
Fun fact: Cosmo is NOT the MCU version but the comic book version even though he was released during GotG3 being in cinema.
Yeah, you are right. Still hoping they fix Kraven in a future 3/5* version of him, to counter all special tile spammers and the like. But again, there is always a risk of another Car(b)age failure
Given how poorly the Kraven movie and the Sony spiderverse in general did, it was probably a good decision to remain distanced from it at least in terms of versions of the characters.
My understanding is that our Morbius, while the comic version, was released around the time the movie’s original date was scheduled.
