Halloween Related Character Versus Events- Daredevil, Blade (Daywalker), Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze), Blade (Modern), Cloak and Dagger, Venom (Eddie Brock), Carnage (Cletus Kasady), New Character (???)
Note: The other two listed costumes are not Red Goblin and Pirate Deadpool as pictured above. Norman and Wade just fit with the image visuals and theme, so we went with them. Still two new costumes to come!
The first ??? bundle looks like it will be on offer when the SM vs S6 boss event is on, I wonder if it has something to do with those characters.
The second ??? bundle looks like one of those $75 bundles for a 5*, with tokens usually to a special Legendary Store…
This whole idea of giving us partial information so we can speculate is awesome.
Except for the part where I see two $ amounts and know they’ll be overpriced because the cosmetics pricing in this game is a joke. They’re called microtransactions, just sell them a la carte for a reasonable price. And maybe bring back old costumes and make them available again, also at reasonable prices. I swear, wanting to support this game and enjoy cool things and not being able to because you decide I don’t have enough disposable income is the worst. This is a mobile game, not a high-roller private casino.
With two “???s” (one 4* & one 5*, based on the implied offers) we could get both a 4* Riddler (Jim Carrey or John Astin) and a 5* Riddler (Frank Gorshin).
The listing of PVPs syncs up with a New 4 PVP on 11/10, so a new 4* release 11/7. Which is what I think most people expected anyway (2 weeks from Carnage).
Human Torch came August 29th. Worthy Cap was September 19th. Spider-Man 2099 was October 10th. Carnage’s normal release store, with CP tokens, starts October 31st.
Yeah, at that rate of release, we’re down to one 4 star a month. Paired with the potential dilution solution rollout coming in roughly the next month/month and a half, I think we’re making progress to new characters not coming as rapidly as before. I may actually have Spider-Man 2099 at 10 covers before the current season ends and can move to getting the covers I need for Torch and MartyrCap.
Torch to Cap was 3 weeks; Cap to 2099 was 3 weeks.
But all the other characters in 2019, and 2018, and 2017 averaged 2 weeks apart. Occasionally they pushed someone to 3 weeks but followed that with one a week later.
At the moment…I consider 10/24 Carnage’s release which is 2 weeks after 2099, and 11/7 will be 2 weeks from today (10/24).
Maybe they paused things because of work on the targeted character system and new PVEs around Anniversary but I expect them to continue with releases 2 weeks apart…probably…for the rest of the year and full steam ahead into 2020.
BUT would welcome 3 week intervals as the norm.

You know…since it’s Halloween and all, and we are getting a 5* Carnage, it would be nice if the Red Goblin costume would be offered in a sub-$74.99 offer, as the first re-offered costume.
Is there any comment on the VIP benefits not including a costume any longer? Is there a plan to reintroduce that? Seems like Halloween would be a good time to bring that back.
Makes the most sense for Halloween. Unless they’re pairing it with one of those costume releases. Like, if one of the costumes is a more vicious form of Hulk (Venom Hulk or Immortal Hulk from recent comic runs?), it might make sense for Banner to get a feeder. Doubt such would go over well without a rework, but it’s a thought.
