MPQ R226 Delayed (Update: It's Coming)

4/28 EDIT: All platforms have been approved for release, 226 will be going out as soon as it processes on each platform!

Hey all, just wanted to give a heads up that due to some run-of-the-mill shenanigans with one of the first parties that we’re delaying the release of 226 slightly.

Nothing particularly strange here… We’re not pulling an Epic and getting into a battle against all the first parties or anything, just a thing that came up that slows our release a little. Still planning on pushing it Live this week on all platforms. This won’t have any effect on ongoing events for this week.

Just letting you all know in case you were wondering why that Update button hasn’t lit up like it normally does every other Monday!

Is there some kind of code-speak going on here that I’m missing?

iOS 14.5 has privacy tracking transparency changes. It probably covers one of the various MPQ trackers that are embedded, so there could be some reluctance pushing an update that reveals this to a user, or by being forced to maybe remove tracking features.

Yes, don’t pull an Epic and cause this game kicked off all platforms. I’m sure Disney won’t like that if that happened either.

Can’t see how to PM you, but from what I hear it is somekindof villain. With connections to characters already in the game.

Oh, that awful Spider-man!

Despite the fact that literally Spider-man has never done a single thing to her, Aunt May just really hates that guy. She even shot at him once! And his Spider-sense is completely helpless against this insane woman! If Spider-man is an opponent, Aunt May throws a hissy fit and demands that he be hunted to death and he is immediately attacked by Police/Spider Slayers/Aunt May’s handgun and instantly downed. This power becomes:

Look, what is going on here Aunt May?!?!? You just had him hunted to death and now you worry he might not be eating enough porridge in the morning? sigh. Anyway, Aunt May revives all and any Spider-men, giving them a burst of breakfast that restores 50% health but hits Aunt May for 750 damage because she is a lunatic because, look how can she not know?!?!? Fine. Next power.

Aunt May, it is blindingly obvious, good grief woman!

Despite the many, many times that Aunt May catches out her nephew Peter Parker as clearly and obviously being Spider-Man, she just never lands it. We aren’t even going to talk about the sticky puddle under the door episode. Luckily for Heroes, Aunt May’s blind unreasoning dunder-headness hits enemy teams for 9,465 points and stuns up to one random enemy who cannot believe how stupid she is.

Now you might think Aunt May has enough to get on with all day what with worrying and hating Superheroes but she still finds time to put it about like the hot arthritic mama she is. She has been through them all – Doc Ock, Edwin Jarvis, Agent Coulson, even Willie Lumpkin! Any male character is immediately smitten with Aunt May, she places a 4 round countdown tile and all enemy characters gets sent airbourne for 4 rounds (they either went to go buy her some flowers or are insanely jealous of her cookie baking awesomeness). Aunt May then deals 36,595 to all characters (including airbourne and invisible ones) every round as she breaks hearts and sweeps clear her female competition like she mops up a puddle of Spider-goo.

I think they are looking for the D3 clue, not the mined information on who the character is. Some people prefer to guess and be surprised instead.

Yeah i was asking for the official character hint, but we’ll all figure out who it is next week when they tell us lol

I guess we have 3 options:
1.) Another WandaVision character
2.) We are done with WandaVision and are now onto Falcon & Winter Soldier
3.) Somebody completely random like Yellowjacket was

Are they done with Phoenix 5 characters? If not, that could be option 4.
