My take on J1P OML article. Please read and generally discuss this it's good

J1P beautifully wrote

Short answer: no.

J1P was always nice when we were in alliance families together, and I’m glad he’s encouraging people not to be toxic and bitter, but most of his complaints don’t resonate with me.

Take, for example, the lack of SCL 9 and 10. We basically have notice that there will be some better rewards sometime in the future. We don’t know how much better or how long from now, but it seems utterly crazy to me to act like that’s something bad the developers are doing to us. A lot of the rest seemed similar.

I guess the closest it comes to resonating for me is that I used to teach a personal finance class, and this strikes me as a good example for many aspects of consumer behavior, time preference, and positional goods. If one of your life goals is to avoid excess anger and regret, there are some nice lessons in here.

This didn’t need it’s own thread

Phaserhawk I personally appreciate this very much. I poured my heart and soul into that article and I’ve gotten overwhelmingly positive feedback from the community on here, my personal Facebook and many LINE users.

i know it’s not gonna change any of the things that need to be changed or corrected in MPQ… however I couldn’t remain Silent without putting up the best fight that I could .

I will continue to do everything that I can to make MPQ better and prevent further high level mistakes like the oml nerf.

If you wish to discuss J1P’s thread please do so in the actual thread. Creating additional threads about whether you agree or not with a different thread is unnecessary and clutters the forums.
