“Hmm, maybe I should start Krakadoom… wait, what’s this? A red exclamation mark, on the Story tab? Did they finally add new permanent content??!”

Clicks tab, looks at event

“Oh, it’s just another PVE, but they moved it over to story. I guess that makes sense, as some PVE develops the story… and it’s for another new character, The Sentry! Oh that’s pretty cool, he’s really powerful so he’s probably a 4*, at least he’s not another 3*, getting overloaded with those.”

Opens event, investigates

“Oh, he is another 3*. Maybe he’ll use unusual colours? Nope, yet another Red/Green/Yellow, just like Thor, Ares and Wolverine, the characters I keep seeing endlessly in PVP. Oh well, at least this PVE will be a nice break, it seems to be a Dark Avengers tournament, finally! Been waiting for them to flip the story on it’s head like this.”

Starts event

“Oh, it’s not limited to Dark Avengers, they’re just buffed. Well some of them are anyway, Lazy Daken, Ares, and some crap. That’s kind of frustrating, they had a real opportunity to make this event into something different. However, I’m playing the bad guys, so that means I’ll get to fight against the good guys! So at least this PVE will be a BIT different… the first fight is against HAMMER troops, but I guess that’s just setting up the scene…”

Gets to Manhattan sub-event

“So I’m fighting the Maggia, HAMMER troops, and TINYKITTY BULLSEYE? Just like every other tinykitty PVE?”

Seriously, even if you guys only have ONE person working on the design for these events, you should fire them. This is a terrible wasted opportunity, and the game is becoming terribly stale because of things like this.

Don’t forget Punisher and Sentry. You get to fight them, too!

I’m hoping they switch it up a bit in the next sub.

Err..thee is a little exclamation in the…o right there is a story tab now. poke yep, there it is. reads not sure what I think about sentry but lol at all his moves damaging the team. Wonder hiw self damage scales with him..anyway there it is. It’s new content so I’ll start it now…

I only have 400 pts in shield training. I should really get that up. Just incase looks at scoreboard okay, nobody else seems to be moving either…i’ll …do this later too. Having too mu h fun cooking an omelet? Which I said I’d cook 2 hrs ago. So I better do it as that’s digestinally time sensitive.

So…that’s where I am.at. I’m at the point I’d rather cook than play a game. My elementary school friends, if I could time travel as this version of myself, would hate me lol.

Yes. I have barley touched MPQ today. I played through the first round this morning so I could get my refresh tonight for my alliance because I LOVE MY ALLIANCE! THEY ARE AWESOME!!! (CareBearStare shout out!!!). But I’m otherwise uninterested at the moment. And if Sentry is supposed to be the new “carrot” on the stick, I think the devs need their eyes checked. This carrot is rotten. (Just my opinion, please don’t flame me) So I’m not really interested in developing him.

Today is a perfect day to skip playing MPQ if you are feeling burnout.

Well… You do have to do one match to get your daily reward.

Not feeling burned out. Just not feeling it today. But that might be more because of the slaughterhouse that has been PVP. LOL.

Yup, I got the “time for your daily resupply” popup on the ipad and said to myself “well, I guess it’s time for one shield simulator match.” Been spending much more time in alliance chat lately than playing the game.

Sure, sure. You guys all say you’re not playing, but I do one complete run through of my sub and am in 150th place and something like 3000 points behind the leader.

I’m playing. “Yay, new story!” I’m a sucker for new story. Even exposition heavy new story.

I’m “meh” about Sentry, except it looks like he’s going to be a villain, so yay, new villain!

I am appreciative of the person posting dialogue for the fights. I don’t even have to feel bad about not starting! I’ll start right after season ends…maybe.

My second thougt: “Oh look, DAKEN ISN’T BUFFED. YOU DICKS.”

I think he joins Mighty Avengers later but that might be another sub, or another separate event or it might take even longer than that.

Yeah, or alternatively you missed the reset and were penalised as a result. Certainly that’s why I’m 2000+ points behind because silly me didn’t get up at 4am (UK time) to play my sub when there were decent points available. That’ll teach me to sleep…

I agree. Was disappointed that it was not a limited roster PvE, and the fact that 2* Daken,Venom,Yelena was buffed. Was having really high hopes on using a buffed 2* Daken alongside my Ares and Venom.

Secondly, I think the main issue with limited roster events are the fact people complain that they cannot do those events because they do not own a good copy of those required heroes. IMO, why not give everyone a rental copy with 1 cover of each color of each featured Hero barring the uber-buffed main featured Hero? I think that would be pretty fair as it gives players with more limited rosters a slight fighting chance. Also perhaps not make the Essential nodes worth a huge magnitude higher than the standard ones. They of course should be higher, but make them bonus points higher, not so high, you need to score in those to get anything.

Or they could make the essential nodes in line with the rest of the nodes (more or less based on difficulty), but give a one-time bonus of points for the first clear. That would give people with the needed characters a boost, but not an insurmountable advantage.

Anyone know how many sub events there are? I’m trying to figure out what I need to average to get the 45k purple daken award. It seems like there may be 5, possibly 6.
