I logged in this morning and was pumped to see this deal back again…low and behold it wasn’t back. I’m assuming if you got the three packs last month the deal is not available to you this month?

That’s ok D3, I am a bit relieved I won’t be tempted to spend more money.
How “briefly” is “briefly”? I don’t recall seeing the notification for it in my inbox last night when I logged in, and when I logged in this morning the notification was there, but no Mythic sale. General conjecture in my Coalition was that they used the same code as last sale, so if you bought three last time it locked you out of this one.
So look, I know I already have a bunch of mythics, so I don’t really feel entitled to 3 more, but maybe you could not tease players like me with the adverts?
Hear hear! I’m also relieved when they put a bad Mythic on sale. The “nice to have” ones take a bit of restraint, but the bad ones are so easy to decline.
Android account - bought 3 mythics last time. Sale message shows, but nothing actually in vault to purchase.
iPhone (alt) account - bought 2 mythics last time. Sale message showed, in vault I could buy them. The indicator said “2/3”. When I purchased one this morning, instead of moving to 3/3 and disappearing, it instead reset to 1/3, allowing me to potentially buy two more. Too bad I’m out of crystals.
Not sure if it’s a platform issue or a counting error.
No offer in the vault, but I see the sale message in my inbox…that’s a bummer.
They would have sold some crystals for sure if the offer had been real

This limited-time set contains Mythic cards from every set except Kaladesh! Only 3 purchases per account. Apologies for the confusion if you received a notification, but had already purchased 3 Mythic Card Sets previously. I will inform the developers of that occurrence.

i mean, even with RNG (last time a bunch of people were getting dupes), might as well let us keep purchasing. I’m sure lots of people are willing to throw lots at the offer each time.
I know several who are.
That is something I am also discussing with the developers. In the meantime, I would advise please saving your crystals, and not attempting to purchase more than 3 total. Thank you!
A few minutes? I saw the notification and had been saving crystals for new offers. I went to the vault and the offer was visible. I don’t recall if it had a timer.
My experience is similar. I’m on Android, my offer showed 2/3 on the indicator and reset to 1/3 when i purchased one, them 2/3 when i purchased a second. I didn’t have enough crystals for a third straight away, so played in the event for 2 games to get crystals. Offer was gone by the time i came back.
Both mythics were dupes unfortunately.
I think “briefly” may mean “as much time as it takes you to buy a lifetime total of 3 or more 1x mythic packs, and switched screens away from the vault”
The fact that they introduced a surefire way to get people to spend their crystals (and potentially buy more crystals in order to do so again) and then removed that option by limiting it to three lifetime purchases is just astounding.
I’m missing two mythics from Shadow over Innastrad..the problem being…they are two of the top mythics for the set, and one is one of the best all around mythics (Geier Reach bandit & Startled Awake). Point being, I’ll take 1 in 300 odds over the 1 in 30,000 odds of me actually pulling one from a regular pack. Mythic packs gives me that opportunity when odds are not good enough for me to spend a dime on regular set packs.
I’m glad to see since I posted this thread that many others felt the frustration of this game
- Advertising packs you can’t get
- Events that have end bosses with 38 health
- the ability energize doing the opposite to everyones games…lag when the ability builds up
- having to sit thru 9 fabricate buffs on a guy. Holy hell, speed this up.
- showing a planeswalker in all your ads for Kaladesh that 99% of us never got or will get the opportunity to have.
Is reliability and true advertising that big of an ask?
