I may have missed something, but does anyone know the particulars of the theme? I get the villains vs heroes part, but why these particular villains and these particular heroes?

Is it colours (reds and greens for christmas)? Is it something from the comics? Anyone have any ideas?

I have no idea what’s happening, maybe it’s the spirit of Christmas, it already being Christmas Day here.

Winning one match you get a free token, as well as the one from 25 points. It’s a vault: 80 rewards, Legendary Token, 6 x 4*, 3 * 100 HP, 1 x 10 CP, etc. the cost is 1 = 400 (100), 10 = 3600 (2800), 40 = 14000 (9800).

Moon Roach got the Legendary token with his first draw (Falcap yellow).

Wolveroach got 2 4* with his two draws, Cyclops blue and Mr Fantastic black.

The fates are definitely being kind.

Based on the 4*choices alone, I wonder if the theme is characters who’ve been good and bad guys. Cyclops, Mr. F, and Rulk all fit that model; dunno about Kingpin, who’s clearly evil, but his public persona is that of a civic-minded philanthropist.

The best thing about this event for me is the absence of Fist/Jean Buster teams.

The worst thing for me is how dry my slice is, it’s been a struggle to climb above 800 and matches worth more than 40 points are few and far between.

The most interesting thing for me is how good Kingpin has turned out to be in this event. Kingpin, Cage, Hood, oh my gosh golly. And mine is only level 213 5/1/4, it’s severely tempting to buy some purple covers and throw some ISO into him just for the push to 1150 and maybe even 1300.

I hear ya, Roach. I ran with Luke Cage, Magneto, Kingpin (level 178 or so, 2/5/5). Got quite a few defensive wins which I suspect was a Kingpin purple pushing yellow AP above the Magneto/Kingpin threshold to force Luke’s Uppercut.
