With the accidentally pre-announced tourney, I thought it would be fun to have some idle speculation and debate on who should be playable/unplayable in this “no heroes” roster. This should leave the main thread free to focus on more “useful” stuff.

You can raise serious points, such as Magneto** should be excluded because he’s a good guy.

Or silly points, such as Invisible Woman should be included because she’s a heroine and not a hero.

Or provocative points, such as technically-speaking, Punisher’s a law-breaking murderer.

Personally, whilst they’re not all “villains”, I would like and expect to see all the Dark Avengers playable for the event.

In some story lines Venom is a hero (Eddie Brock), so if I can use him, why not Punisher?

Modern Hawkeye hides behind other people, not very heroic in my opinion.

Bagman, nuff said.

Dark Avengers:

  • Bullseye** Purple/Black
  • Daken** Purple/Black
  • Moonstone** Purple/Red/Black
  • Ragnarok*** Green/Red
  • Venom* Black/Purple
  • Yelena Belova* Purple/Black
  • Ares** Green/Red/Yellow

Villains:

  • Hood*** Yellow/Blue/Black
  • Magneto*** Blue/Red/Purple
  • Loki*** Black/Purple
  • Doom*** Black/Blue
  • Ragnarok*** Green/Red (yes, DA and Villain)

Potentially:

  • Juggernaut* Green/Red
  • Hulk***Green/Red/Black
  • Punisher*** Black/Green/Red

The only sketchy character that will be on the list (in my opinion) is Original Black Widow. Everything else seems cut and dry.

You should see what he does when he’s not being an Avenger ^^

Juggernaut would make sense as they class him in the Brotherhood.
Non-Avenger Original Black Widow would be super cool, but I’m not getting my hopes up.

Mind you, if she isn’t I’m probably not gonna have anything viable on blue.

in this game, venom is Mac Gargan (Scorpion) - as far as i can recall, he has always been a villain

Ares isn’t a villain.

Nefarious sometimes means “left-handed”. From the Latin, ne fas = not right.

From the animations, it’s not too hard to figure out who is left-handed.

fas means right, but as in moral right
