most likely, except Hood’s blue is passive, but the AI will match blue anyway, so without an active blue.. you may be an easy target with hood. I know many use him, but he has so few HP, even boosted, he goes down very quickly.

If you have a nicely covered mystique or Doom, i would put them in.

As long as no enemy strike etc tiles are present, the AI will always use Doom’s black or Mystique’s black , and both do very good damage, bit with loki on the team, shapeshift will never go off, same with doom’s trap tilles.

So it will depends on covers, if your doom is 5/5/3, go with doom, if your mystique is 3/5/5, possibly go with her. If both are covered those ways.. then i would go with Doom just for the HP alone. If they are randomly covered (basically you have what you have gotten) then go with whoever has more black/blue covers.

My doom is 5/3/5 as well, and i use his purple loads in PVP, problem is, it will never fire with loki’s cheap purple. Mystique i am at 4/4/5.. don’t remember why i chose this, had many chances to re-spec her and didn’t.

If you are looking for defensive skips or possible wins, i would say Doom. Boosted his demons are nasty to whomever is up in the front, every turn they are on the board, and he has quite a bit more HP. Mystique’s black and blue create cascades, and when her black fires it does nice damage.. but she is much squishier.

Here is the rub.

Anyone who does choose to fight you, is going to take out Loki first, so prioritize for that.

Mystique’s purple will give you AP steals even with Loki gone, but also squishy… Doom will take longer for his purple to go off, but can one shot anyone, and he will last longer.

Ok, now that i have typed it all out, pros, cons, etc.. i would say Doom. His HP alone make him daunting when boosted, and his demons are insane at 5 covers.

Seems difficult to get a good team if boosted villains with rainbow active powers withou using someone like sentry or rags and I don’t know if it’s worth leveling either of them.

I’ve been using Loki/Hood/Cmag. Gotten some defensive wins out of this team. 1 loss as far. As someone pointed out, Hood blue is passive and with cmag/hood I do damage from 4 colors (red, blue, yel, black) and get rainbow coverage for match damage.
