I just started this season’s SHIELD Sim, and the opponent is HippestHipstah. They had very low level characters, so I tried to check their roster out of curiosity… and it’s a seed team! Kicksthatkick and lokivsleah have a new friend!

Hmm…interesting! I guess using new seed teams might be a good way of testing the code for introducing new things or could it actually be they are going to mess with MMR?
These are actually really old! I don’t remember when they went away or why but I definitely have seen them years ago.
Devs: Well, we haven’t been able to fix the pvp MMR issue, but here are some new seed teams for you to fight while you grind out 50 of them.
They only seem to show up in the Shield Sim section, and usually that fills up too quickly to spot them. Just not so much right now.
I’ve seen a ton of seed names i’ve never seen before. I was thinking of compiling a list of names 
Oh I remember, some of these guys were taken out of the seed rotation because they were too difficult!
I think there’s an angel-something (or something-angel?) that was the bane of new players’ existence way back in the day.
I found this very old post that describes the seed teams we saw back in 2014 (thanks @Colognoisseur !). The one I was thinking about was Battle_Angel. Back when new players were actually using 1* and 2*, her team was too tough for them to beat, so she was eventually retired.
I keep expecting one day to be doing a Boss battle side node wave mission and there will pop up a Super Bacon Magic who is level 650 come to get revenge for all we have done. It haunts my dreams.
