Nothing I need again in this one. I guess I’ll take some Marvel now mag’s to finish him off but I’m not gonna use him so its just for completionist sake. Or go for number one again for the 175 HP… o and another ****wolvie cover to collect dust

Yeah, same here. He seems like he could be a nice addition to my team, but I only have one cover for him at the moment icon_e_sad.gif

Over the last three weeks I got more than 10 covers for 2* magneto and he went from 1/2/1 to 4/3/5. I’m hoping he gets a tournament soon.

Not too thrilled about im40 at the top. Might make it easier for me to get that 4* wolvie.

I might as well try for the IM40 Blue covers I need, and if X-Wolv is within grabbing distance, why not?

Notably this is the first time Magneto Marvel Now! has been in any tournament in any form. Even if it is just as a reward.

Unsure why they’re pushing the IM40s again though.

I still need a MMN cover or two, so I guess that’s what I’ll aim for. And remember – utterly borked PvP scoring is still in place.

i’ve played this game so long and my magneto is 1/1/2.

yeah i’ve been abusing it lately in the widow event. Tank really low then climb back up easy snagging some free ISO and maybe some HP at the end of the event.
(really only care about the yellow Wolvie in the rewards at this point anything else is just bonus)

also whats with people not caring about MNmag ? i thought he purple was supposed to be pretty useful?

Definitely need Mags. No one cares bout 2-star Mags because the 3-star version is way better, as are other 2-stars. Also his purple was powercreeped by IM40s recharge (who happens to also have a better blue), who has been way easier to acquire.

Polarity Shift - Purple 11 AP Magneto uses the sheer force of magnetism to reconfigure the battlefield. Changes 3 selected basic color tiles to Blue. Level Upgrades Level 2: Costs 1 AP less. Level 3: +1 tile affected (total 4). Level 4: Costs 1 AP less. Level 5: +1 tile affected (total 5).

Recharge - Yellow 6 AP
Recharges weapon systems. Creates 3 Countdown tiles that activate after 2 turns, restoring 3 Red AP each. Iron Man is then stunned for 2 turns as systems reinitialize.
Level Upgrades
Level 2: Each Countdown tile also restores 3 Blue AP. Costs 8 AP.
Level 3: Each Countdown tile also restores 2 Green AP. Costs 10 AP.
Level 4: Each Countdown tile also restores 2 Purple AP. Costs 12 AP.
Level 5: Each Countdown tile also restores 2 Black AP. Costs 14 AP.

I’d figure that making your own crit tiles and gain blue at 9AP would trump 14AP cost countdown timers + stunning your own toon

Nobody with any sense raises IM40’s yellow to 5.

And yes, crits are good, but MMN doesn’t have the health or punch that IM40 does.

But, really, the reason MMN has been ignored is because most people simply don’t have the covers for him, or get the covers long after 2*s are no longer relevant.

The problem with magneto is his skills cost a lot of ap and only produce countdown tiles and IM40 skills cost a sh*t load to use, both need tweaking really.
Also I dont know what to go for in this tourney just finished top 4 in widow maker to get 3 IM40 but I want both magneto and ironman tough descision.

I have 12 **Mag covers, but he’s still at 6. Hooray for countdown tiles, and a double hooray for increasing costs as you add covers.

Your issues with both characters are sound and reasonable, so is there any reason you can’t decide between the two? Where are those two characters at for you right now?

I liked the subtle difference in the IM 40 rewards placement. In Widowmaker Top 20 would get you the Red, and now in NHB Top 20 nets you Yellow. Very appreciated. icon_e_biggrin.gif

Just me, or has the scoring gotten even worse than what we’ve been seeing over the last couple of weeks? Just lost 38 points in one match to bring me under 300, then lost 22 points to someone with 50 points more than me (while at 298). The “set point” seems even lower. Only one person in bracket above 400.

Well there’s a lot of parity amongst the teams now. I think these PVE events allowed pretty much everybody to collect and cap their ** (thor/wolvie/x), while *** still remain rare, so everybody can beat everybody, and basically it’s all a big mess icon_e_biggrin.gif

Are you still tanking? You’re the only one in my rotation worth any points, but you don’t have a scrub team out. Don’t wanna hit you if you’re looking to place.
