If so, Iron-X-Myst has come to town?
It’s possible there’s a server issue starting the new event. It’s been a while but that has happened before. But due to the timing I’m betting it has something to do with the upcoming MCU related event. (https://forums.505go.com/discussion/28066) Maybe a new PvP format? (unlikely) More likely just holding back to release in sync with other Marvel game releases?
Most likely reason, they all left for Chicago and forgot to fire off the event(s). Due to the random times event previews show up it’s easy to conclude they are manually launched not timed on a schedule

Yeah, my bad. After X-Force’s readjustment, I don’t think about him much.
Prof X, level 5 Master Plan, Boosted Mystique should return purple on Match 5s, with Iron Fist generating from 5 purple.
Along with Infiltration, I think there is a nasty combo there. But, since I can’t test it, I could be wrong.
The problem w/ a mystique/if/prof combo is that if this ends up being your defense, then an opposing player can simply collect pinks & bks to set up surgical strike, doom bombs, or whale.
I think the game is 1000X more fun if you never think about defense. I know it matters at some point, but damn, I’d run that combo (if I could
).

A major difference between this event and the last event.
In Blue Shift – After clearing seed teams, all opponents were lvl 270 monster teams. All of them. Skips gave nothing but maxed 4* teams, most for paltry points.
In Identity Theft – After clearing seed teams, fairly normal ranges of 2*, 3*, 4* with various leveling. Most for paltry points, none for 25+ points.
Fair matches, so not using boosts. Almost got completely wiped by a level 100 2* Ares-Storm-Mystique team after a silly cascade.
With boosts, it’s easy to spam black with both 
and 
, Mystique spams
, and her 
does a lot of damage.
Just noticed for some reason after selecting slice, I had no seed teams - not even the first typical three.
So obviously, the PVP conspiracy is to “sell more healthpacks”!
